  1. Hello guys !

    I have an project in my mind and I would be grateful if you guys are able to help me with it
    I'm trying to create an DVD-authoring software which simulates our old LG DVD recorder
    There's some specs about the files produced by the recorder :

    VIDEO_TS.IFO = 160 kb
    VIDEO_TS.VOB = 82-86 kb = the menu bitrate is 6300 kpbs)
    VTS_01_1.VOB length = 00:00:03-00:00:26 (the real length is 22:02)

    I would like to know if this is possible to do, and if so, I would like to gather a team from here and start working with this
    Thank you for all

  2. What specifically is it about your LG-DVD recorder are you trying to emulate that can't be accomplished with exiting software such as AVS2DVD?

    There's few things :

    A) main menu produced by the recorder
    B) VIDEO_TS.IFO + VIDEO_TS.VOB file size (VIDEO_TS.VOB = 82-86 kb, + the menu bitrate is (6300 kpbs) VIDEO_TS.IFO = 160 kb))
    C) the movie length (Windows is showing 00:00:22 secs and the real length is 22:02, for example, wondering how that is done))

    I'd go as far as to say it is not entirely sane to want to deliberately create DVDs that are not to spec instead of ones that are, and that a project to recreate the defectively authored discs produced by one model of DVD recorder is, at best, a waste of time.

    It is astounding that you have not yet realized this after a year and a half of screwing around with it. See https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/384805-Tmpgenc-DVD-author-2-57-41-146#post2494656

    Also, to create something nonstandard like that, you basically are asking others to contribute & collaborate on something that likely only benefits you.

  6. Hi guys !

    Sorry for any inconvinience !

    An few years ago when my dvd suddenly got destroyed, I became so sad about that my memories got destroyed, and tried simulate our old recorder, and I now understand fully that it's just completely waste of time since there's even better menus that everyone can use

    However I got my memories fixed by specialist !

    Once again, my deeply apologises for everyone
