Hello all: I am trying to create an svcd and I am having serious sync issues. I run Linux, and have captured using dvgrab, converted using transcode and now I am trying to combine the streams for burning using mplex. Everything is fine, except that I can not adjust the time difference between the audio and video using the -O option like the manpage states. Here is the command I am using as well as the output:

    mplex -f 5 -b 230 -O 200 -o test1.mpg test.m2v test.mpa

Everything seems fine to me, however there is no difference in the mplexed signal than if I didn't try to change the syncronization at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Yes I found that to be true as of latley. I use kavi2svcd to set the mplex options for me. It also has an option for another program to mplex the streams back together(Can't rember which one I'am work right now). This one work when the one from mpjeg tolls dosn't.
