How can I get the framecunt, or play length of an audio clip without creating a blank video clip and mixing the audio with it? I want to know if this is possible without using AudioDub.

    Thanks

  2. This is so easy that I don't think I'm understanding the question. If you want to know an audio's length to the exact framenumber, try HeadAC3he.

Audio duration in seconds is given by AudioLengthF(clip)/AudioRate(clip).

To get corresponding frame count, multiply this by the frame rate (FrameRate(clip), if the clip has video).

Perhaps you might have included the word avisynth somewhere in your original post - something like

How do I get the length of the audio stream in frames in an avisynth script ?

    Just a thought.
