  1. Hi

I want to know if it is possible to burn a vcd to a disc so that it can only be played, and not copied.

So that if I gave one to someone they coul watch it on thier player but couldnt copy it and distribute it..

    Probably not possible...

But if it can be done, is there a program that burns to a cd, which will put sime kindof code or something on the end that will make it harder for people to copy it??

    Hope this makes sense!

Yes, in a way. There's even some guide(s) here at this site. Keep in mind that any copy protection scheme (as we are well aware ) will only making it harder to copy - not impossible.
Make a forum search - the subject surfacecs at least every month or so...

    Pustanio,

Billion dollar companies have tried everything, and we still make backups.

I do not think you are going to get a scheme to defeat anyone who wants to make a copy of anything you want to make.

You could just put a copyright disclaimer on your disk saying that it is your property, and if you catch them, you will prosecute.

This is, really, the only recourse the biggies have.

  4. Can't be done, that is what this site is all about. If companies like Sony etc.. are stuggling what chances are you going to have.

Yes, that's the best you (or anyone) can hope for.
