    I found that after updating my MB bios to 4801 that i now have a longer boot time,when i turn on the computer it has a bar on the screen for 15 seconds and then does a normal bootup,tried to go back to an earlier bios and it said wrong bios type.Any one have a similar issue and found a fix?

    did you try removing the on board battery and resetting the bios ??
    does it boot faster with a SSD ??

  3. Check the BIOS boot delay (ie, the time it spends displaying the Press Del To Enter BIOS message). Disable devices that aren't being used. For example, if SATA 4 isn't being used disable it.

    That's always been disabled,it's the new bios that has another setting,i managed to get it to 5 seconds so i will do some more testing.After the delay it boots up in 10 seconds.
