My camera creates MOV files which are 1280x720. The files a pretty large considering they're around 25kbps. I tried AVS bun I'm not too happy with the results. the quality of the output file is not so bad but the colours are worse than the original, more flat and in general the video is darker. I tried many presets modifying the value of kbps but just can't find anything that would produce a good conversion. Any suggestions please?

Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

Try a free ffmpeg frontend like mp4camtoavi, xmedia recode, winff, etc

Quality much better indeed
. Not like the original as it looses sharpens when there is movement but much better than AVS in general. Better colours, more accurate brightness. This is probably as close as I can get taking into the account that the output file is 2x smaller than the original. Thanks for the recommendation.
