  1. Been looking for a 40-43 inch HD TV that'll upscale to 4K. Can anyone recommend one? Been reading up on this technology online but posts seem to be a few years old and don't really mention one. Thanks.

  2. Every 4K TV upscales lower resolutions to 4K.

  3. I don't know if there are any or not, but you'll have to sit pretty damn close to be able to take advantage of any 4K resolution sources you might have. for a 42' 4K TV it's about 4 feet away.

    Why are you restating jagabo's point? And what makes you think your low-rez source will actually look any better upscaled to 4K, even if you are sitting within 4 feet of the 42" screen? It definitely won't look any better sitting much farther away. In this case bigger is better.

    By the way, Samsung makes one in the size you wanted. Here's the Costco version:
