  1. About how much does it usually cots per movie?
I have a very collection of movies and some of them give read errors when I try to back them up.
    They are from different studios.
Does anyone have some links to the different studio's replacement pages?
Every time I try google of any other search engine I get pages about how 4k is to be the next big thing.
Aldo can someone suggest for specific searches?
    Thank you.

I highly doubt that will be a valid excuse to return them.

If it play on a standalone player with the current updates than that's the protection doing it's "job". If not and there is no user caused damage to the disc try contacting the studio it was made at via their contact us page. They may ask you to send the old disc to them. This happened when star trek the next generation season 1 on bluray first came out. Not being able to rip on a PC drive is NOT a valid defect.
if all else fails read the manual

  4. The reason that I am trying to copy them is because they DO NOT work in a real player but there is no sign of physical damage.

  6. I had this issue with my copy of Maniac Cop 2 on bluray. The disc had no physical problems and played fine, and yet, about halfway through the backup process both dvdfab and anydvd HD would start throwing up errors. It was impossible to back it up. I eventually just had to purchase another copy from Blue Underground.

Why not try MakeMKV - it doesn't alter the files just puts the titles in a MKV container. Doesn't shrink the size but maybe once you have the MKV you can process it to be smaller if that's what you need.

  9. If you have so many discs from so many sources failing -- the problem probably isn't the discs.
