    Hi,

    I am using powerdvd 6 for playing my dvds on pc but iam not satisfied with the audio.Its a bit low and especially is not audible from a distance especially the dialogues.Can anyone let me know about any audio enhancer or plugin for powerdvd.Thanks

    what kind of sound card are you using?
    what kind of speakers are connected to computer?

    the above will greatly affect listening quality.

    Well, since you have a 2.0 speaker system, that explains the problem. DVDs use surround sound mainly 5.1, and it means your PowerDVD will downmixing the audio from 5.1 to 2.0 and hence you get the low and not very audible sound. I had the very same problem when I had a 2.0 system, until I upgraded to 6.1 speaker system.

    All I can suggest is you try alternative players and see if there is any difference is audible levels.

    I use power DVD ver 4, and have real good 2 channel sound. Have you tried all the audio config options?
