  1. When it comes to videos, my knowledge only covers "Push Play" and most of the technical terms about edit/convert videos. Bear with me 😁

I bought WinX HD Video Converter Deluxe a few days ago. It covers all my simple needs and a lot more. I have a lot of music videos on my hard drive. The quality range is from VHS-tapes to Blu-ray.

I want to upscale and convert (to mkv) everything below 1080 to at least 1080.

All videos are ripped already. Would the result be good?
Are there any special settings that I have to check before I start?

A folder with VOB-files contains of many files. The first one seems to be the biggest. Do I add all files or just the biggest one?

  2. If your question is directed towards 'WinX HD Video Converter Deluxe' users, I doubt if many here have even heard of it, much less used it. I know I never have. You might have more luck trying their support or searching for a forum for that program.

  3. It probably won't look any better than the upscaling your Blu-ray player does while playing the original video. A very good upscale with the right software may look better though.
