  1. I plan to purchase light scribe disces as well as light scribe burner, just want to know if some dvd burner like Fly DVD Copier can recognize this kind of new media; I usually use it for normal discs and it works well, but the new media can write things the same ways as the normal disc? Is there anybody has the similar expierence?

  2. Lightscribe DVDs are functionally the same as the normal types; they must adhere to DVDR specifications. The difference is on the top side of the disc, which contains a reactive dye. You put the DVD in upside down and the laser will, hmm, "print" a greyscale image.

You'll most likely get Lightscribe software with your new burner, if not, just do a search for it. It's free. Good luck.
    Pull! Bang! Darn!
