  1. Hi there, I am new to subtitles editing, sorry, if it sounds liek a noob question.

    I often need to "join - concatenate" two lines together.

    but it seems no keyboard shortcut to do so. Every time, I have to select two lines and right click the mouse -> browse the context menu -> click the function.

    Please anyone can help, There is no way to setup my own shortcut of this command? either in MacOS , I tried but doesn't work (Maybe I did wrong)

    Any ideas or suggestions are grateful, even you can recommend another subtitle app with this specific function w/ shortcut available.

    Thanks a lot in advance.

  4. Reading https://aegi.vmoe.info/docs/3.0/Options/#index6h3 and opening Aegisub, I would say:
    • open: View->Options
    • select: Interface->Hotkeys (on the left)
    • press: the '+' next to 'Subtitle Grid' (on the right)
    • select: 'Subtitle Grid', press: 'New'
    • in the 'Hotkey'-column press the shortcut you want
    • in the 'Command'-column press the arrow down key on your keyboard until you reach 'edit/line/join/concatenate'
    • press: 'Apply', then 'OK'
    does the trick at least on Windows, assuming the menus are not different on the mac version this should work there too.
