I recently purchased a Panasonic DMR-EH75VS and according to reviews, it's compatible with just about everything. My problem is that I have a few region ALL dvds, probably factory produced in another country (China?) that won't play in my DVDR or a Sony SLV-D350P DVD Player. They seem to work fine in an older cheaper machine I have though, Coby DVD-615.

Does anybody know what's wrong or how I can fix or get around it?

    Thanks

Could be the disc - I've had pannys reject brand new (store bought) DVDs several times. If you want to check it, rip the DVD and burn it to DVD-R (+R) and see if it'll play. If so, the player doesn't like the disc for some reason. If not, the player doesn't like the authoring of the disc.
