    Good afternoon friends,

I am having a problem that I haven't been able to google for 2 weeks now. It seemed pretty simple...but I am really tired of getting nowhere now.

I have a football match on my hard drive. It is a large VOB file of 4GB.

I know how to create DVD Video.

But I would really like to create a menu for that DVD, like an autorun menu, where I could select FIRST half, SECOND half and so on.

I don't even how to call this operation in English. Is it called authoring?

Can anybody reccomend an easy way, or an easy software?

    Thanks a lot,
    Mihnea

Tmpgenc DVD Author is a pretty good entry level authoring tool. Reasonably priced as well.

You could also look at GUIforDVDAuthor if you want something free.
    Read my blog here.

    Yes. from our GLOSSARY:

    Author
To format video into a form ready to burn onto a recordable disc or to stream onto the Internet. VCD, SVCD and DVD Author is to format video into its standard file structure and also add optional menus, chapters, audio tracks, subtitles, slideshows and much more.
