    OK Guys, I've been using filmguard and a kodak film cleaning solution for years. Now I've found out that they are being discontinued. Do any body knows a cheap alternative that will be just as good on cleaning film. Thanks!!

    You could look up the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for the Kodak cleaner and mix it yourself.

    I actually look at the MDS sheet the stuff they used seems to alcohol mix with some oil. But that seems risky...

    If you use alcohol make sure it is isopropyl,do not use rubbing or denatured alcohol because it has acetone which will desolve your film.
