I came across what appears to be an older video enhacment unit. The only mdoel number/ID I could find was Sima Pro EDit 3D. All the I/O ports on the back are RCA type connectors and the front has about 14-16 sliders. Does anyone have any experience with this unit? Is it worth buying?

Sorry I don't have many details, but my son decided to throw a fit when I was looking at and had to leave

    Thanks in advance

Thanks. That is the unit. A lot more complete than the one I found lcoally.

Does any have an opinion about this unit? Is it worth buying or is it older technology that is better left alone? Has anyone used this type of editing unit?

    Thanks

It's used for tape-to-tape video editing, and I think it's about 20 years old. I never owned one, but they weren't terribly expensive. Today most hobbyists are editing video on their computers because it's faster, easier, and better. Frankly, I wouldn't bother with it unless it happens to suit your needs perfectly.
