  1. Does anyone know how to build mencoder/mplayer 64bit with Avisynth support?

    This post by LigH apparently found the root of the problem:

    «According to comparisons between configure files, I believe that mplayer only implements loading of Win32 DLLs (e.g. as codecs), what a Win64 build does not support. But loading Win64 DLLs is not implemented at all.»

    So, while nobody fixes MPlayer, the workaround is the olde and goode avs2yuv :–/

  3. Okay, that clears that up. Thanks for the link.
    Also additionally for avs2yuv one can use ffmpeg in case it's build with '--enable-avisynth' (worth with 32bit and 64bit builds).
