  1. I know this is a tall order, but maybe one of you gentlemen can make the impossible happen. This video page loads preview image, but the video itself is missing. I made sure it's broken and has nothing to do with regional restrictions. Is it possible to examine the code and find the link to the highest quality 720P mp4 (1280x720)?

    https://www.br.de/mediathek/video/xiv-fussball-weltmeisterschaft-1990-in-italien-final...2f29001293cdc0

If you want an example for a working video to get any specific information, click on any of the video suggestions to the right hand side.

    Thanks

The video is not broken. It is simply not on the server "Video Not Available"

As far as I can tell, the other link - the 110 minute version - shows the complete game. So what is missing ? Talk before the game. Half time talk. The presentation. Talk after ?

  3. Thanks for giving it a look. It's available in two parts elsewhere but I was hoping I could track down this single video. I'll just forget it.

Single video is available to download in 720p. Runtime: 01:49:30. Works with Streamlink v 0.14.2. Took me 13min and I am in UK on a VPN. (UK)

That is fine but not what the OP is after. And that video downloads without the need of a VPN. (Ok did not try but the download option was available and I could play the vid as well)

Thats what the OP said. In Post #3

I know you dont NEED a vpn either - I made the remark to show how much quicker it would be without one...
