  1. I converted an AVI to MPEG-1 and burn it with Nero 5
the file I am converting is 720 x 480, 24 Bits, 156410 Frames, 23.976 Frames/Sec, 94 KB/Sec, DIVXMPG4 V3 (wide screen). I wanted to try to keep the wide screen in my VCD, but when I was finnished burning the picture was squished together verticaly.
Do I have to crop this file in order to play it on VCD compatible player?
Also the volume was way to low in this DiVX, is there a way to adjust the volume up louder?

    Thanks to any relpys
    sorry, new to this!

  2. Unless your VCD player can play anamorphic VCD's i doubt you'll be able to get it to play wide screen and it will be all squished up. Unfortunately there are not a whole lot of anamorphic players on the market so you will probably have to include black bars on the top and bottom of your mpeg.

As for your sound you could probably rip it out to a wav then play with that before you put it back in again.
