    Just an interesting idea that I thought might be worth asking about..

    Say someone were to have a stereo audio track; would it be possible to cut out any pieces (or, frequencies, rather) of the track that are 100% identical in both the left and right tracks? I assume not properly, as it would create a lot of artifacts, but I could see some major use for it, so my curiosity was peaked.. perhaps someone with more experience (mine peaks at Audacity, lol) could elaborate more on this?

    Invert one channel, then convert to mono. Only differences between channels will be left.

    It is used since stereo FM radio broadcast... since April 1961... (at least)
