Hello,
When I try to encode to Xvid with Vegas, and when I select the Audio format as MPEG Layer 3, I cannot select any bitrate above 56kbit, Any Ideas.
Thanks.

Perhaps the same as with VirtualDub? Get the lame acm codec.

If you have MP 11 installed, you can also try this:
in windows-system32 delete or simply rename the l3codeca.acm to .bak
Then rename the l3codecp.acm (professional version comes with MP11) to l3codeca.acm. Thatīs it.
Of course you can also change the registry entries from l3codeca.acm to l3codecp.acm. But first way is faster.
l3codecp.acm has full range encoding settings. -
Thanks,
I was so sure I had made another post but I didn't know that it was for Virtualdub, so I couldn't find it.
The problem now is that Whenever I chose LAME MP3, and just as the encoding is about to begin, I get an error message saying "An Error Occurred while creating the media file, An Error Occurred while opening a codec"
