Low CPU Usage video editor?

Hi

I'm using sony vegas at the moment and for converter using xvid4psp. Is there any low CPU usage and fast video editor for small hq or hd videos? I need editor for only cutting videos and add website logo.

Editing requires RAM while converting is CPU intensive, to increase speed you need a fast CPU or a program that can utilize multi-core CPU's.

If you need to use your computer while encoding just turn town the priority of the encoder. You'll barely be able to tell it's running in the background.
