  1. My dashcam records to .AVI containers. They will not upload Facebook now. How do I change to .MP4? Tried two converters and they are all blocky.

  2. Try my clever FFmpeg-GUI.
    Convert the video with this settings:

    and the audio with this settings:

    Then mux the 2 resulting files to your final mp4.

    Edit it is .mkv won't open in Sony Vegas. I also need it be be edited in Vegas

    ok Vidcoder makes an mp4 that opens in Vegas

    You have muxed to mkv instead mp4.
    OK i see. I didn't mux just extracted video as did not need the sound. i will look at it tomorrow thanks

  6. I do not see where to choose mux as mp4? There is no dropdown for container like here https://www.videohelp.com/software/clever-FFmpeg-GUI

    Load first your video file, then your audio file, then set the desired output, then set the container. Click on multiplex, done.

    Do you see Container?
    You can't multiplexing anything without setting an output file.

    Restart clever Ffmpeg-GUI, load your file, Main, Multiplexing.
    Set your Video track file, then set your Audio track file, then your Subtitle track file, if any.
    Then click on Target file, confirm the selected file name or choose another one, click ok in the Browser Window and you'll see the picture i send above.
    Select mp4 as container, click on Multiplex. DONE!
