    Hi All,

I was just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same issue as myself or know the solution.

I built myself a PC last year and ever since I have been plagued with an issue with the Blu-Ray Drive.

Basically the drive always appears to have an Audio CD inserted even though there is definitely nothing in there. The contents of the disc often vary but essentially it will always say that there are a number of tracks of varying lengths but today it shows the following in Windows for example...

    Track00.cda 1KB
    Track00.cda 1KB
    Track01.cda 1KB
    Track63.cda 1KB

In iTunes it displays the tracks available as follows...

    Name Time
    Track 01 17:52
    Track 02 2:00
    Track 03 15:04:26
    Track 04 2:28
    Track 05 15:34:58
    Track 06 - 12 Not available

I've tried updating the firmware on a couple of occasions but to no avail. The most annoying thing about it is it makes closing iTunes a nightmare as it believes I want to rip the CD.

    Any ideas anyone?

    Cheers, G.

Sound like an OS issue to me. Have you any virtual drives in this system ?

No OS issue, just problems due to bad drivers and/or glitches with 3rd party softwares, eg dvd/bd player software.
    Check the event viewer...

It even can come from the bugged itunes crap.
