    i just got a video ipod and i was wondering how do you put movies onto my ipod? What program(s) would i need to convert these movies?

    I don't want to sound like an ass or anything, but maybe you should try reading the manual. Since the Ipod itself is called an Ipod Video, one must assume that one of its primary functions would be to display video. One could also assume that this function, being a function actually attached to the name of the product, would be covered by the manual extensively.

    well i would of if i bought it in the store... my friend needed book money for school so he offered me the chance to buy it and i couldnt say no for $100. all he had was the cord and the ipod.
