    Hello everyone, as the title says I'm trying to find a way to use ffmpeg to take a screenshot from lots of mkv files inside folders that are inside a main folder. I'd like the screenshot to be taken at, let's say, 10 minutes from the start of each video and to be named as the filename to which it refers. Is ffmpeg the right software to achieve this? I think it is since after googling how to batch screenshot I stumbled upon this question (https://stackoverflow.com/questions/12084875/) and the relative article that suggests to use it, but I'm not sure it answers entirely to what I want to achieve and since I've never used ffmpeg before I don't know how to modify that to work as I want.

    Thanks in advance

    The settings I use as the Batch.bat, which I put in the same directory as the mtn.exe

    mtn.exe -r 4 -w 1240 -g 2 -j 85 -b 0.80 -k 000000 -F f5f5f5:12 "C:\Videos"

    @pause
    Creates a black background with 3 pictures across and 4 down.
