    I've got an .avi movie wich I want to convert to dvd with subs. I use virtual dub and TMPGEnc to do it wich works for me. but now with this movie TMPGEnc gives an error when loading it. the video part is ok but it does not load the audio. do I need to extract it? wasn't neccesary for other movies..thx

    it could be ac3 audio or some other, extract to wav www.videohelp.com/virtualdubaudio and use in tmpgenc.
