    hi,

    i have a video that is packed into a rar archive splitted in 4 parts. part 3 is corrupt. i only need a small part of the video at the end. when i extract only part 1 and 2 i can play 60% of the video, but when i extract only part 4 i cannot play anything. avisynth cannot open the video. with ffmpeg and lwlibav there is this error:

    Code:
    no video track found
    or

    Code:
    failed to get the video track
    is there any way to decode the video?

    Did you try repairing the archive with Winrar?

    Does rar archive play at the desired spot in MPCHC with RarFileSource or Potplayer ? If yes, then avisynth might be able to open it with a DirectShowSource graph.
