    I upgrade to the latest version of Media Player Classic (1.7) recently when watching a 57 minute video, the video stops at 51 minutes, the same for another video that is 40 minutes, except that video stops at the beginning after 6 minutes.

    Is there a brute force way to skip over, if it's a few seconds of bad video ? The other videos I've watched up to this point were all successful, if the ISO file the video were contained in were bad wouldn't I have run into this problem from the beginning ?

    Why not transcode video using a video converter beforehand to compatible video codec and video format? That saves me lots of efforts actually.
