  1. Hi
I hope someone will help me..
i got a xvid/avi file with AC3 audio ( 2 channels). The audio is completely sync and it's perfect

I demux .ac3 and then i clicked disable. After this, i save as avi.

And then i encode the avi file using tmpgenc plus to DVD format (m2v)

Finally i used tmpgenc dvd author. I added m2v as video and .ac3 as audio file. And then i encoded.

BUt the resulting is the audio out of sync...not much..it's only a few miliseconds.

How to fix this? can someone please help me? my english is not good so forgive me

    thks

Use ac3fix to fix ac3 file before remuxing. It's a dos program.

Ok.......this is what you need to do.......By the way....use ac3fix on the ORIGINAL ac3 file.

You need to place a copy of ac3fix.exe in the same directory of the ac3 file. Then you need to open a dos prompt.....START---->PROGRAMS------>Accesories----->Command Prompt if using XP. Navigate to where the ac3 file and ac3fix.exe is located using the command prompt (cd c:\your directory). Then type ac3fix.exe 1.ac3 new1.ac3.

1.ac3 being the name of your ORIGINAL ac3 file and new1.ac3 being the name of the new fixed ac3 file.

Let me know how you did

No, you just have to reauthor with the new file.

with ac3 delaycut can you a few milliseconds cut or place silence before

    http://jsoto.posunplugged.com/audiotools.htm

this way is only when the audio out of sync is the whole movie and the same time

The audio comes a litle seconds before the video whole the movie,
then you must import the audio (1) in delaycut

By delay you fill number of audio out of sync in ms.
    Click on process.
Now the result is an ac3 file with the name fixed.

The video comes a little seconds before the audio whole the movie,
then you take the option of cutting

Now an another way is cuttermaran you can cut the m2v of ac3 only
