I am going with a few friends on a trip in 2 weeks and the hotel that I am staying at is a budget hotel that only has old analog TVs with basic cable and no AV inputs. I have an old RF modulator from Radio Shack that I have from my old TV that I used with an AV selector switch and some video game machines. I was wondering if I connected the player using the standard yellow, white, and red input cables to the back of the adapter and the cable TV cable to the antenna in on the adapter and the RF out to the TV, would it work? I know that it wouldn't be as clear as HDMI or SDTV with the AV cables plugged in directly, but I don't care as long as it works.

That should work, but be aware that some hotel TV systems may have alarms if you disconnect the cable. Though I doubt it with what you describe of that hotel. They do this to keep people from stealing the TVs. But if they are bolted down, not much chance of that. Most modulators of that type work on channel 3 or 4.
