  1. Hey friends,

So I recently received a tape to transfer and it's a normal Hi8 Fuji tape but when I play it on my Sony CCD-TRV65 NTSC I get these crazy playback glitches. I'm assuming something is wrong with the tape? Could it be recorded in PAL? Never seen this before. Maybe camcorder issues?

What do you think? (Video attached plus a few photos)

Community feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Have you opened the tape flap to check for obvious tape damage?
    Tried a second camera?

Doesn't look like tape damage, might be the take up guides are loose causing the picture to glitch in and out.
    I think,therefore i am a hamster.
