I want to download a rather large playlist, and I do not want to do it one by one. The man page of youtube-dl and the examples on the Internet show clearly that is possible, namely, just writting "right" the address of the playlist. This is the actual command that I am using:

    Code:
     youtube-dl -i --playlist-start 9 --playlist-end 103 https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL8ACC74B0CB3FA1C4
And the url is right. But I do not get ANYTHING (not even the first video). Not an error message also, what I get is this

    Code:
    [youtube:playlist] PL8ACC74B0CB3FA1C4: Downloading webpage
    [download] Downloading playlist: PL8ACC74B0CB3FA1C4
    [youtube:playlist] playlist PL8ACC74B0CB3FA1C4: Downloading 0 videos
    [download] Finished downloading playlist: PL8ACC74B0CB3FA1C4
You can check for yourselves that the playlist is not empty.

My version of youtube-dl is 2020.11.01.1

Okey, I upgraded now, and it seems to work. Thanks and sorry for not keeping track of your answer.
By the way, how do I skip the undownloadable videos and continue?
How do I mark this thread as "solved"?

    Okey.
Supposedly the "-i" options skips videos that are not avaible, but sometimes it stops on error.
I have to understand the pattern, maybe I forgot the -i in one of my tries.

I have made the experience that it is better to download the videos individually.

But the problem is that with a larger playlist the Youtube servers site go down on their knees or even a video from Youtube is blocked. So it is a waste of time to wait for a playlist larger than 20 videos in the hope that everything will be downloaded.

It is better to convert each Youtube-MP3.me video individually. This is how I made the experience.
