I recieved SuSe 9.1 Pro in the mail and would like to install the xvid codec in it. How would I do this?
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

There are MANY other compiled rpms (codecs, players, encoders, etc .... ) for SuSE, on the Packman site. I recommend you explore the site and determine what is available. -
I used the rpm things. I can only install it from konqurer though. Somethings wrong with YAST in the OS. Anyone know how to fix it? WHat are some good books on programming in Unix? Do they use C or C++? I want to learn to make my own apps.
