i am currently experiencing some sound level problem with my computer.
normally when i playback something, the equalizer would show the sound level to be between 0db and -20db.. however, this evening, the sound level was around -60db, and -50db at most.. i've adjusted the sound level to the max at the sound properties screen. i couldn't figure out what went wrong.
i am actually viewing the equalizer from nero wave editor's record screen.. on normal days, when there is no sound being played, the equalizer would show no bars. however, now that there seem to be a problem, the equalizer would have a constant/steady bars of about -60db to -65db regardless if there's any sound being played.
the only thing i did these two days was changed the setting from playback to record so i can capture some stuff from my net md thru analog stereo mini-jack. if memory serves me right, the sound level was fine even after i was done capturing from my net md. it seems to be a problem that just started this evening.
if anyone can give me some feedback, i'd really appreciate it. thanks much!
