    Does anyone know of a program that can easily, quickly cut AVI files? VirtualDub takes a long time just to cut.

    I'm trying to cut about a few seconds before and after an AVI (cutting out the commericials of a capture I did).

    Actually it shouldn't take that long to cut with VirtualDub. Did you set both video and audio to direct stream copy?
    Maybe you will be more happy with AVIchop. Check the tool section.
