My trick was simple, and not hard at all.
Substitute the choc and crisps for fruit, and cut down on the fried stuff.
Oh, I'm sure three trips a week to the gym helped.

Yes, there is no magic involved. You just need to decrease the calories coming in and increase the calories going out.

Instead of having sandwiches crisps and chocolate for lunch, with the occasional pie or pastie from the local shop as well if i felt peckish around mid morning, I now just have yogurt and fruit at lunchtime. I have a pretty normal tea, although smaller portions now, and also cut out snacking just before bedtime. I would often have cheese and biscuits or crisps at this time. I play football 4 times a week, and also go to the gym whenever I can.

Did you watch the program on channel 4 last night Will, titled Americans Fattest City. It was pretty funny as well as being pretty sad. The city was Houston, Texas which has won the title 3 years running. 2 out of 3 people are overweight and 1 out of 3 people are obese. The average calorific intake of someone from Houston is 3800 calories a day . There was a fast food place which sold a burger which has 5000 calories. But the thing that shocked me the most was some footage of this woman who was about 22 stone sat on her sofa with her son, talking about how she drove him to the school bus stop each morning. You could see the bus stop out of the window just behind them it was no more than 50 feet from the house, by the time you had got in the car and started it up you could have walked there.
