  1. I was using that program a lot on my main Windows 7 x64 installation. But from today, it won't work anymore, for a totally unknown reason. The only thing that changed on this system is installing some Windows updates. Now Bitrate Viewer 2.3 complains with a crash on MFC70.DLL:

    All MS C++ 7.0 DLLs are present, so I don't think that's the problem (Bitrate Viewer reinstall them anyway).

    And indeed, I'm the only idiot on this entire planet experiencing this. If anyone could have an idea of what could have caused this, please let me know. It's not on every occasion that I ended totally powerless about an IT question but this is the case now.

    EDIT: I made it work again by... remaining the EXE!!!! This is one of the rare cases in my life where I truly fail at getting what's happening.
