TMPGenc freezes when I'm trying to Frameserv

Hi,

I hope someone has a solution for this problem. I already searched the complete forum, but it came up with nothing.
When I load the .vdr created in VirtualDub, it just freezes. I only see a hourglass and in taskmanager Windows says that TMPGenc is not responding.

I already tried to change the priority in the settings, but that didn't help...

Anyone got a solution ? Is there an other option (with another application) to add subtitles to a Divx ?

Im not totally sure about this, but I believe I read somewhere. Open your Windows Media Player, load the movie and let it play for a few seconds and then pause it. Now leave the media player in the background and try using TMPG. Hope it helps!
