  1. Sorry if the solution is obvious but I can't find how to increase the size of the subtitles or how to put a black background. How to do ?

    Not totally obvious but the actual display of a subtitle is not done within the actual sub (since that is typically plain text or limited formatting) but by the video program, such as VLC, which has a section under preferences for this.

    If it's a pgs based sub then you can use BDSup2Sub.

  4. Indeed, it works on VLC. I can increase the size to "larger", but since the subtitles are very small base on Subtitle Edit, VLC enlarges to a "normal" size while I would like it to be very large if possible.

    Oh, it works. After embedding the subtitles and restarting the video, they are displayed very large (too large even). Thanks.
