Hi,
I made a video with a DV cam and now I try to convert it to MPG2 with TMPGENC 1.2h. The problem is that in a scene with normal to fast motion I see a comb like pattern at high contrasting borders. Does anyone know how to avoid this?
Any pointer is appreciated,
Holger

Go to the advanced options and select (double-click) deinterlace. Make sure the preview button is checked and slide the slider to a section in your video where you see the comb like effect. Then try the many choices one by one until you find one you like. Encode the video and it should look OK.
