    Streamlink works on this.

  3. The page requires a login so I couldn't view the video. Maybe this will help: I was able download the trailer with youtube-dl after getting this url from a browser's Developer Tools:

    Code:
    youtube-dl https://video-rightnow.akamaized.net/93/174693/prod-01/17469394640379-d41d-336d-e490-65903078e037.m3u8?hdnts=st=1526440450~exp=1526440810~acl=/*~id=b4ad6567-5608-4a33-a0a6-85d14182d6e1~hmac=3719eff5a38c67b60e7934e5780c976c6b5b8f74cf1b304285abe90d482d0fa7

I just entered your code and received errors (with the latest version of ytdl)

There seems to be a download button for every video, just like there is for the trailer.

That is by far the easiest way. It allows downloading mp4 via http.

  6. You must be in Canada or use a VPN/proxy in Canada:
    Code:
    youtube-dl https://capi.9c9media.com/destinations/ctv_web/platforms/desktop/contents/1297937/contentpackages/1980689/manifest.m3u8

  7. Still cannot download it...or even the trailer. I'm running cmd as an administrator. I thought that might be the issue but apparently not.

  8. You can't just use the links people are providing -- they expire shortly after they are found. You must get the current link using Developer Tools or some other method (download managers, ad blockers, etc.) then use that link with youtube-dl. And if you aren't in Canada you must use a vpn or proxy that is in Canada.

So from which one of those should I grab the url?

  10. You want one of the m3u8/x-mpegurl URLs. Whichever one works.

Tried them all (with the trailer) and getting the errors I posted earlier. Not sure how you were successful.

I don't think that you've tried either of the methods that I posted (Post #7 and Post #4)
Are you not seeing the Download/Embed button that is below the video?

The Download/Embed button calls the following url, which you can load directly to get the mp4 download link:

    Code:
    https://www.rightnowmedia.org/Content/4143/downloadAndEmbed
Note: You might need fast bandwidth to download the mp4 source within the time provided by the authorization expiration code.

Another Note: I would trust that fat guy in the Hawaiian shirt about as far as I could throw him. He is selling a bill of goods.

Last Note: My last try to help after my other two posts were ignored.

Your suggestion in 7 will not work because for every other video besides the trailer, the download/embed button is removed.

I've not tried the Streamlink option because I'm not at all familiar with how it works and I assumed there was a way with youtube-dl

  14. I don't know how long it will work, but from ponen's link, right click and save:

    https://download-rightnow.akamaized.net/43/4143/prod-02/4143_2500k_1.mp4?hdnts=st=1526...r%20-%20SD.mp4

ponen's link gets you a json file. Inside that file is this link.

    Nope, link changed very quickly.

I don't want/need the trailer. I need the other videos...none of which have the download/embed button.

4143 is not the trailer. It is episode 1.

174693 is the trailer. No one has provided you the link to the trailer. You'd know this if you had tried the link.

There is a 3 minute time window to download the mp4. So you need fast enough bandwidth to download within 3 minutes. If you don't have fast enough bandwidth, you can resume the download with a new auth code.
