    tsMuxeR actually supports HEVC, however its description doesn't mention this, so it's misleading.
    I presume that's the reason why the user 55trucker wrote the comment quoted below.

    It's been 4 years since the last update on the program, x265 is becoming mainstream, as of yet txmuxer does not recognize the format.

    Yes, that review by the user is incorrect.

    jdobbs uses tsMuxeR as the HEVC muxer in his new 4k UHD disc backup program. jdobbs also released an addon to tsMuxeR called TSM2UHD that makes the output more UHD structure compliant. tsMuxeR is still alive and well even though it is no longer updated.
