Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me understand flac files streamInfo
I'm at https://xiph.org/flac/format.html#def_STREAMINFO reading this Paragraph in the image
I understand it starts with <32> "fLaC", the FLAC stream marker in ASCII, meaning byte 0 of the stream is 0x66, followed by 0x4C 0x61 0x43
What follows this? Is it the first line in METADATA_BLOCK_STREAMINFO <16> The minimum block size (in samples) used in the stream ?
Because I cannot correlate the bit counts shown with the actual data. The four bytes holding the Sample rate are at offset 22
but according to METADATA_BLOCK_STREAMINFO the sample rate in Hz is 20 bits following <32> + <16> + <16> + <24> + <24> . That is offset 12.
What am I doing wrong ?
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!
