This is a streaming video I captured with either StreamTransport or DownloadHelper - forgot which one.
I'm guessing it is somehow copy-protected. Just getting opinions.
I've tried VDub, AviDemux and two flavors of Solveig.....nothing opens it.
I'm just looking to cut and keep about 5 minutes of the entire video.

It's an MPEG4 (probably using h264) in an FLV container. I seldom work with FLV so I can't say. Try installing ffdshow and enable its FLV codecs. Last time I worked with flv I used TMPGenc Smart Renderer v4. But if there's anything non-standard about it, such editors will have a problem with it.

  7. MMG has a really good source demuxer. It seems to work with just about anything where a lot of other demuxers fail.

  8. yup, the (de-)muxer (and the splitting support, as long as no subtitle streams are involved) is really nice, since it does a really good job handling most of the time code issues other muxing tools have.
