  1. I've been searching for hours... Clown BD functions not-so-great in Win10. I have it working for the most part, but struggling with a title that has a separate forced sub track that isn't cooperating.

I've used the tool to pre-select a specific subtitle stream but it's not the same as forcing subtitles. (If you move off that stream, it does not re-select at the next forced subtitle)

I want to stay with BD format, not moving to MKV... No desire to convert the subtitles, I just simply want to set the force flag on each subtitle within the sup file.

Is there really nothing out there that will let me do this?

    Thanks !

sup files are not text like srt so at some stage you would have to convert them to srt in order to edit. https://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/subtitle_formats_explained.cfm

  3. Thank you for your response.

I don't really want to modify the art. Just st the flag on each subtitle to forced. (So I can remux it with tsmuxer)

  4. I think the program BDSup2Sub++ (https://github.com/amichaeltm/BDSup2SubPlusPlus/releases) can do just that.

I don't have used that function myself, just saw the settings in the program.

Settings --> Conversion Settings --> Global forced flags

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

Unfortunately BDSup2Sub++ only seems to export to idx/sub. It doesn't seem to be able to save back in the original format.

    Thanks again!

  6. BDSup2Sub++ is able to export to SUP.
On the top row just beneath "Output format" there is a drop down menu.
Change to "SUP/BD" and all shoud be well. Just make sure that no tick boxes are
    set under settings/conversion options.

  7. OMG - thank you so much! I had an earlier version of this tool installed (until this morning) and the java window didn't really work well. Text was way too large for the spaces given, led it to be impossible to see much of the program window. So I didn't notice it when I downloaded the new version today. It didn't show in the export window so well, I had no idea it was in the main window.

    Thanks again!
