The Option to put particularly troublesome users on Ignore

If I understand this mechanism right, the user would select/click on the forum member he doesn't want to read. Then, just for that user, throughout the thread - that 'ignored' member wouldn't be seen (just for that session)

It wouldn't affect anyone else at the time.

Next time you login, you may decide to do it again - for that session - or not.

But to use the feature, you'd probably have to login and not be a "guest."

I don't see a need for it myself, but it should be an easy mod to install (check with mackemx for details maybe?) If it increases the enjoyment of the site for some to have the feature, let 'er rip! If it is a pain to install and maintain, then skip it.

Yes, you have to be logged in for it to work. It blocks only that user (or whoever's on your Ignore list). There is also a button to view the post, in case you get curious.

Hey, for what ever this is worth to anyone - - I'd suspect that FulciLives response was really tongue-in-cheek. Highly doubtful (to me) that he really meant that as you see it.

Come to think of it a whole bunch of people I liked are gone ... What ever happened to Tommyknocker or Capmaster? What about jeex and his "I farted" bit? What about the oddness that was FOO! Where is the expertise of trevlac or even further back, xesdeeni? What happened to DJRumpy? What happend to post whore Will Hay?

One I don't miss is txpharoah ... man that guy really annoyed me! Newer people who have never come into contact with txpharoah yet are annoyed by LordSmurf ... oh no ... that txpharoah was 10 times worse. Anyways I actually like the Lord of Smurfs myself

I ain't really an old timer, but I did lurk around here for better than a year before I signed on. All of the latest post where frontpage news! Newb bashing and product bashing and method bashing and quality bashing and bashing bashing, seemed like the proper way to post amoung freinds. I don't mind a post with a little sting to it and I would rather still see some of the oldtimers posting here and now semi civil than think that they are gone for good.

That was the "Konami code". I used that on Ninja Turtles, think it gave infinite lives or something.
