    Hello all...

    I am trying to locate a valid location to update the firmware for my Pioneer DVR-531H-s recorder. Pioneer's site here in the US has nothing that I can find.

    No known firmware available for any of the Region 1 DVR-53x series...

    Are you having a problem that requires new firmware?

    No specific problem, other than the lose of EPG about every three months and the thought that Pioneer might have come up with a fix by now.

    Forget using the EPG TVGOS thing.

    It sucks ... at least on that model.

    I know I have one LOL

    Otherwise it is a most excellent DVD recorder and setting up recordings without the EPG TVGOS is rather easy ... thankfully!
