I have 2 AVI files that i need to join. If i load them into virtual dub i get the improper VBR audio encoding message and i click ok and append AVI file it says the audio stream have different sampling rates 15841.0 vs. 15494.0
Any help is greatly appreciated..

Hi smm9127,
Here's how I'd do it:
1. Use VirtualDub to extract the audio from both to WAV files. This should (I believe) have the same sampling rate in both audio files.
2. Then use VirtualDub to combine the video with it's associated WAV audio for each file.
3. Join ("append") with VirtualDub...
If my assumption in step 1 is wrong, sorry and someone please correct me...
Hope that helps. Good luck...
resave one of the AVIs (use the same codec as was originally used) to match the framerate of the other. As they're so close, it won't really matter which one you chooseThere is some corner of a foreign field that is forever England: Telstra Stadium, Sydney, 22/11/2003.
Carpe diem.
