    I have an AVI file and have tried following the instructions as per the how to on converting AVI to VCD. I have TMPGEnc Beta 12h run windows 98 Pentium 3 500 mhz with 5 1/2 gb left. When i first tried using TMPG it froze after about 14 mins or so and so (as per inst)i converted the audio to wav and tried doing it that way, but alas TMPG is still freezing after awhile. Does anyone have any ideas that may help????

    Roo,

    This is a shot in the dark. Have you tried to run DivXFix on the AVI to correct any errors? (Am assuming that it is one). And then re-encode with the wav file.
